The EU Member States ambassadors, Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport, Serbian Minister and Provincial Secretary of Culture Ivan Tasovac and Slaviša Grujiæ, visited Thursday the town of Bač, where several EU-funded projects were being carried out, including the setting up of an open museum, a unique cultural complex around Serbia.

“This is a major opportunity for us: being able to see what a municipality’s vision of creating an open museum looks like on the ground, because Bač already is an open museum,” Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport said after meeting the Bač Mayor Dragan Stašević.

“The EU is proud to have helped in realising your vision. Bač is a very abundant place, a historical town, with great cultural heritage, and I am glad that with the EU assistance, it would become an attention-grabbing open museum,” said Ambassador Davenport.
