Today, the European Union celebrates the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. This celebration marks an important opportunity to promote human rights and ensure that everyone, regardless of their diversity, fully enjoys these rights without discrimination.

It is very positive that many activities to celebrate this day are taking place today in Serbia.

Different events including the “Duga” award ceremony, the Pride gathering and the Pride week in Novi Sad confirm the commitment of the civil society and the Government to continue their efforts in fighting discrimination and making a society equal for everybody.

As in other parts of the world the European Union Delegation to Serbia raised the rainbow flag as sign of our engagement in contributing towards a society without discrimination.
