Participants of “Initiative Agenda” project, organised within the European Union’s “Youth in Action” programme, have made three short films about recent floods in Serbia and Bosnia, in a bid to get international attention and appeal for aid.
The EU Info Centre hosted a showing of the three short films before the authors get back to their countries, where they would present them to public, raising an aid appeal for flood victims in Serbia and Bosnia.
Young people from Slovenia, Albania, Turkey, Slovakia, Croatia, Spain, and Portugal spent seven days in Serbia, being engaged in rescuing from flood operations. They were engaged in relief actions in Obrenovac and volunteered in collective centres in Belgrade.
