European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn said that Serbia and Kosovo* should not endanger what had already been achieved in the dialogue.

Answering the question about Belgrade-Pristina relations and the statement made by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic about Belgrade standing ready to send an army to Kosovo, Hahn said: “They should not endanger what has been already achieved in the dialogue. They should look forward and not backward.”

To the question of whether Nikolic is looking backward instead of forward, Hahn said: “Everyone is looking backward who is not looking forward.”
