According to data gathered by the Statistical Office of Serbia, in the period 2012-2015, the most popular destinations among Serbian tourists were Slovenia, Germany, Italy, Croatia and Bulgaria. During that period, the EU was visited by 2.067,463 Serbian citizens. Montenegro hosted 275,561 tourists, followed by Turkey with 261.233 citizens. 10,161 citizens travelled to Russia during the reported period, whereas 32,596 citizens travelled to non-European countries.
The statistics based on the data provided by the Government, EU investors and EU Delegation estimates suggests that some 200,000 jobs have been created thanks to EU investments. In the last five years, 30,000 citizens have found jobs thanks to investors who decided to invest in Serbia.
