Every 24th of March the best nurse in Serbia is being awarded with “Dusica Spasic” award. The brave Dusica (23), died in 1972 in a clinic in Belgrade while taking care of a patient infected by the variola vera virus. She was buried secretly in a remote cemetery. Today, nurses and midwives from Serbia are among most wanted professions in Germany.
