European Mobility Week 2025

European Mobility Week 20252025-09-12T17:13:17+02:00

Every year, from 16 to 22 September, European Mobility Week takes place — the European Commission’s flagship campaign for raising awareness about sustainable urban mobility. This year, under the inspiring slogan “Mobility for Everyone,” European Mobility Week invites all citizens of Serbia to rethink how we move around cities and create public spaces that are healthier, greener and more inclusive.

During European Mobility Week we once again bring citizens together to celebrate healthy lifestyles and environmentally friendly ways of getting around. Our goal is to highlight the importance of safer streets, especially for the youngest participants, while inspiring everyone to embrace sustainable mobility.

Since its launch in 2002, European Mobility Week has helped thousands of cities across Europe and the world raise awareness about sustainable mobility and encourage behavioural change towards walking, cycling and the use of public transport. This year, more than 1,300 cities and municipalities from 39 countries are taking part, continuing the tradition of promoting the importance of sustainable transport options. The campaign encourages local authorities to implement measures that promote walking, cycling and public transport, with the aim of creating more sustainable and inclusive urban environments.

This year’s European Mobility Week in Serbia highlights European initiatives for green and inclusive transport, including the European Social Climate Fund and “Pulse of Europe.”
