Mogherini: EU continues to fight against all forms of terrorism

Statement by the HR/VP Federica Mogherini on bombings in Saudi Arabia:

Multiple bombings targeted Saudi Arabia on Monday, as the kingdom marked the final days of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Among those, Medina, one of the holiest places of Islam, was hit by a suicide attack close to the Prophet Mohammad’s mosque.

The European Union extends its sincere condolences to the relatives of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to the wounded. The EU will keep working with all its partners to fight terrorism in all its forms.
