Federica Mogherini, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, met with Foreign Minister Enver Hoxhaj of Kosovo* in Brussels today.
In the discussion, they stressed the importance of the implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement that entered into force in April of this year and looked forward to holding the first meeting of Stabilisation and Association Council in the near future.
They also touched upon the ongoing process of visa liberalisation.
Finally, the High Representative and the Minister spoke of the dialogue for normalisation of relations between Pristina and Belgrade and the importance of the implementation of the agreements reached. As stressed by the High Representative, the implementation is of crucial importance and both sides need to take the relevant steps without delay.
