“You are heading a very important ministry and we are satisfied with cooperation we have, and we also want it to be more significant since Serbia and the whole of the Balkans are on EU priorities’ list,” EU ambassador Fabrizi said.
He stressed that the European Union has supported and wanted to participate in infrastructure projects aimed at modernisation of Serbia, the statement said.
„All projects are being realised with respect to EU standards. The Ministry I am heading has greatly cooperated with EU delegation in the past years and I look forward to continuing with You our reform policies and modernisation of Serbia,” Mihajlovic said.
Fabrizi stressed that the European Union has followed with particular attention the adoption of Gender Equality Index, since Serbia has been the only non-EU country which has adopted it, welcoming achievements the Coordination Body For Gender Equality has made so far.
