The EU High Representative for foreign and security policy Catherine Ashton has condemned an attack against EULEX in Kosovo, calling for an investigation that would bring perpetrators to justice.
“The High Representative strongly condemns the attack that targeted vehicles of EULEX” in northern Kosovo, Ashton’s spokesperson said in a statement.
Ashton “calls for a prompt and thorough investigation in order for the perpetrators to be brought to justice. Such acts of intimidation are unacceptable.”
“As reiterated this week by the High Representative, the European Union is determined to continue its engagement in favour of the rule of law throughout Kosovo,” the statement said.
