The European Union has hailed high participation at Bosnia’s general elections and said it expected that institutions and governments at all levels be formed quickly in order to address key challenges for the country, a statement from the spokesperson of High representative for foreign and security policy said.
“We welcome the overall orderly conduct of elections on 12 October 2014 in Bosnia and Herzegovina and offer our congratulations for the high level of participation. We take note of the statement on preliminary observations by the OSCE/ODIHR which conducted a long- term and comprehensive observation of these elections,” the statement said.
“We look forward to the early formation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s institutions and governments at all levels. They must begin to work on addressing key challenges for the country as soon as possible,” the statement said.
