EU High Representative for Foreign policy Catherine Ashton has called for Friday, July 11, a meeting of Belgrade and Pristina representatives to discuss the situation related to the Mitrovica north bridge, her spokesperson said in a statement.
“The High Representative is following closely the developments in Kosovo and in particular around the Mitrovica north bridge,” the statement said.
Ashton “has asked her team in Brussels to convene tomorrow a meeting between the two sides to work out an agreed way forward for all the issues related to the Mitrovica Bridge, in line with the agreements reached in the EU facilitated dialogue and in the spirit of the normalisation of relations,” it added.
