EEAS Spokesperson on the obstruction of the Kosovo* Assembly

Today we have again witnessed the obstruction of the Assembly work, detrimental for the institutional life and for the citizens of Kosovo.

We call for renouncement of violence in any form and by anyone, and for return to dialogue, based on principles of democratic government and democratic opposition functioning within a democratic institution.

All sides need to refrain from the use of inflammatory rhetoric which only deepens the divide and makes a dialogue more difficult. Political goals need to be achieved through a democratic process, in the interest of the people of Kosovo.
