The Minister of Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic met today with the Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Ambassador Sem Fabrizi with whom he discussed Serbia’s progress in EU accession negotiations and the reform process regarding Chapter 24 – Justice, freedom and security.
Fabrizi said that it was necessary to continue close cooperation in all areas and underlined the importance of the reform process regarding Chapter 24 for the benefit of the overall accession negotiations. Stefanovic briefed Fabrizi on the progress Serbia has achieved so far in meeting standards and regulations of the Financial Action Task Force.
They agreed to intensify the dialogue between the Ministry of Interior and the European Commission in the coming period, especially with regard to the 2018 Progress Report on Serbia.
