European union calls on Kosovo parliamentary parties to “act responsibly and constitute the Assembly, elect the speaker and form the government as soon as possible”, said Maja Kocijancic, Spokesperson for EU Foreign Affairs and Security Policy in an answer on forming a parliament and a government in Kosovo.
“Kosovo has no time to lose. When it comes to the government, we call on all parliamentary parties in Kosovo to act responsibly and constitute the Assembly, elect the speaker and form the government as soon as possible,” Kocijancic said, adding that: “We have already said: Kosovo has no time to lose and the new government should work immediately towards reforms related to the rule of law and economy, to deliver on visa liberalisation, to play its part in the region and to constructively engage in the EU facilitated dialogue between Belgrade and.
These are essential requirements for Kosovo to progress on its European Union integration agenda,” Kocijancic said.
