The best high school students from Belgrade’s Stari Grad municipality are visiting Brussels this week, and they could learn more about the day-to-day functioning of the European Union and its institutions from the Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, Ambassador Sem Fabrizi.

Curious students in previous days visited the European Commission and the European Parliament, where they heard what are the youth policies in the EU and what the opportunities are to study in Member States through programs such as Erasmus+.

“I think this trip is important, as far as I understand, some of them have never traveled outside Serbia. They have the opportunity to see live the city of Brussels, which they have only seen in the news so far. They can get to know what this city really is. I think it is very important for them to see and how the institutions work in it, this is the capital of the European Union”, said Ambassador Fabrizi, who is in the Belgian capital at a meeting of Heads of Delegation from around the world, organized by EEAS.
