Music marks the beginning of this year’s BELEF. On Sunday, 19 June at 21:00, in the inner courtyard of Kapetan Misa Building Belgrade audience will have an opportunity see two music acts: Zemlja Gruva and Los Mambo Jambo from Spain. Entrance is free and the concert organised with support from the EU Delegation to Serbia and the Cervantes Institute. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to Dom omladine.

LOS_mambos_plakatSince their foundation in 2010, Zemlja Gruva have become the favourite band not only in Serbia, but the entire region. Band members have changed over the years and are currently led by Ana Djuric – Konstrakta and Ana Jankovic – Zoe Kidah together with MC Milovan. They have so far released one album titled WTF is Gruvland (2010) and a few singles over the course of 2014.

Barcelona-based band Los Mambo Jambo, have since 2009 become a trademark of both Spanish and European Rock’n’Roll scene, thanks to their energetic performance, authentic set lists and specific sound. Band members are Dani Nel • Lo (sax), Mario Cobo (gitara), Ivan Kovacevicc (bass) and Anton Jarl (drums). Jambology (Buenritmo records, 2016) is their third studio album, bringing 12 brand new songs filled with dance energy and their well-known exotic sound.
