September is slowly coming to an end, and that only means one thing – the beginning of the academic year is in focus, and in Europe house, this applies as well!

Europe House had the opportunity to host students and faculty from the College of Europe in Tirana, which offers an advanced Master of Arts in European Transformation and Integration – The EU and Southeastern Europe.

This visit was a component of the students’ study trip, where they had the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the structure of the Delegation of the European Union in Serbia, as well as to meet with alumni, who currently work in this Delegation.

The students had the opportunity to meet alumni of this prestigious programme and discuss the current topics in geopolitics, economy, and international relations.

During this busy day, interested students from Serbian universities also had the opportunity to attend an info session in Europe House, where they could familiarize themselves with the programme and campus, learn practical information about the application process, and, of course, hear some first-hand experiences from the attending students from the Tirana Campus. The info session was held by Professor Gentian Elezi, after which Jovan and Dragana Vuckovic, CoE alumni, talked about their experiences.

“It was very insightful for me, their views about the European Union, about Serbia, what we can do together, but also what the challenges are at the moment, in the wider geopolitical environment and against the backdrop of a very dynamic political situation in Serbia.” Stated Manuel Munteanu, Head of Press and Information Section within the EU Delegation and proud CoE Alumni.
