Kladovo – February 5th 2014. – The Minister without portfolio in charge of European Integration process, Branko Ružić, said today during the opening of the social housing facility in Kladovo, that although this a festive moment, this is also another reminder on many Serbia’s citizens who haven’t solved their housing and existential problems.
Minister Ružić attended the opening of the social housing facility in protected conditions for the refugees, the internally displaced and socially vulnerable domicile persons in the Municipality of Kladovo, funded by the EU, Serbian Government announced today.
“To all of you for whom this is no longer a problem, I congratulate, but I have to express a regret also, for the two decades that past before this was done”, Ružić pointed out.
He emphasized that while taking care of socially vulnerable categories, we must also work on adopting the latest standards of living which exist in EU.
European Integration is the process in which the individual is, and has to be, in the center of attention, Ružić said.
The facility was built thanks to the EU funding, engagement of the Municipality of Kladovo, Danish Refugee Council and Commission for Refugees, the statement added.
