Thanks to the cross-border cooperation project “Increasing competitiveness and enhancement of cross-border links in the metal industry – EUMETAL 2” funded by the EU, Serbian companies will once again have an opportunity of presenting themselves on the prestigious Industrial Fair in Hanover – Hannover Messe.
The project provides a stand for joint presentation of ten metal processing companies: the companies from Serbia are INMOLD, PAN KOMERC, PERFOM, TERMORAD i CORUN and from Bosnia and Herzegovina DŽENEMI, TERMOAPARATI, SARAJ-KOMERC, STROJAL & METALOS.
Hannover Messe, the most important event in the world in the area of industrial technologies, will be held from 7 to 11 April 2014 and it will host more than 6,500 exhibitors from more than 60 countries. This year’s official Hannover Messe’s motto is “Integrated Industry – NEXT STEPS” and while on the one hand it reflects Fair’s continuous focusing on the integration as one of the industry’s future biggest challenges, on the other hand it defines further steps towards intelligent, self-organised factories of the future. In the period of five days during 2013 Fair, more than 200.000 experts from 93 countries visited the Fair, while more than 5 million business contacts were made.
Increasing competitiveness and enhancement of cross-border links in the metal industry – EUMEATAL 2 project is carried out in the framework of the EU Cross–border Programme Serbia – Bosnia. The project aims at promotion of metal processing sector SMEs in the border region between Serbia and BiH. The project is worth €365.432 in total. Carriers of the project are Regional Development Agency SERDA S.A. and Zlatibor Regional Development Agency S.A from Užice. Project partners are the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton (BiH) and National Agency for Regional Development (RS).
