More than 200 micro and small businesses in 24 municipalities mostly affected by the floods were selected to receive support through income generating activities. In the next period, these entrepreneurs will receive construction material to reconstruct their facilities, as well as equipment and process material to restore the production.
The delivery of raspberry seedlings will be completed by the end of the next week. On Friday, 28 November 2014 total of 16 fruit producers in eight municipalities will receive 1,800 raspberry seedlings each. By end of next week, 1,764,000 raspberry seedlings will be delivered to 980 fruit producers in remaining 18 municipalities. The largest deliveries will be in municipalities Krupanj (275 beneficiaries) and Šabac (254 beneficiaries).
The reconstruction works on the largest building of the Kindergarten „Dečja radost“ in Svilajnac were successfully completed. This included plastering, flooring, replacement of joinery, painting, pavement, roofing, mechanical and facade works. Since this is the only kindergarten in Svilajnac, this reconstruction improved conditions for playing and learning for 450 children. The European Union funded these works with 226,860 Euros.
