Ninth Belgrade Design Week, sponsored by EU Delegation to Serbia, takes place from 6-11 October in the old factory Staklopan in Dorcol, and, as was the case in the years before, comprises several programmes.
International conference Brand New World, the central event of this year’s Belgrade Design Week, will be held from 9-11 October with lecturers from various creative industries, hailing from over 20 countries.
Festival will be accompanied by exhibitions programme BDW DizajnPark, professional workshops BDW DizajnLabs, as well as the already traditional 100% Future Serbia project, aimed at promoting young designers. Opening of 100% Future Serbia takes place on 6 October in KC Grad, whereas opening ceremony of Belgrade Design Week is due 7 October in the old Staklopan factory.
Belgrade Design Week is a great opportunity for all the creative people in Serbia to show the world their skills and talents. During the presentation of BDW programme in the Belgrade City Hall, Secretary for Culture Vladan Vukosavljevic said that Belgrade Design Week brought the world to Serbian capital and was highly influential on Belgrade’s cultural life.
