The EU Info Point in Niš traditionally celebrated Europe Day this year. With diversified content, a significant date was marked on May 9, which reminds us of the most important European values and the importance of a united, stable Europe.
In the period from May 7th to 11th, the EUIP Niš organized numerous events that are part of the Week of Europe, within the #EUzaTebe campaign. During the week, the EU Info Point celebrated three years of work in a new space in Voždova Street. On this occasion, on May 8th, a reception for partners, associates and colleagues was organized, who through their engagement and support contributed to the successful functioning of the corner in the previous period.
On Europe Day, the EU quiz was organized for secondary school students, who had the opportunity to show their knowledge about the European Union, member states, history, tradition and cultural heritage of European countries.
The EUIP and the City of Niš have jointly marked the Day of Europe with a projection mapping of the European Union and the Republic of Serbia on the National Theater building. The idea of the activity was to symbolically show the synergy and joint efforts of Serbia and the European Union in bringing our country closer to a community of European nations.
The final manifestation of the European Week in Niš will be the Day of European values, which the EU info corner in partnership with the City of Niš and in cooperation with local partner organizations will be held on May 11 from 11 to 13 pm at Platou near Kalča.
This year’s campaign of the EU Delegation to Serbia and the EU Info Network in Belgrade, Niš, and Novi Sad is being implemented under the title #EUzaTebe, with the idea of promoting the results of EU development aid to Serbia in the process of European integration.
