Foundation TEMPUS – Erasmus+ Office Serbia held Info Day dedicated to educational component of the EU education, training, youth and sports programme – Erasmus+.
Representatives of educational and scientific institutions were addressed by Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Srdjan Verbic, Assistant Minister in charge of Youth Snezana Klasnja and EU Delegation to Serbia representative Jelica Colic.
Speaking about previous cooperation among institutions, regarding the implementation of Erasmus+ programme in Serbia, Klasnja said that the Programme could response to numerous issues faced by young people and regarding their formal and informal education, working and mobility within higher education, all for the sake of improved youth employability, building capacity for higher education and different creative projects in the area of education, youth and sports.
During Info Day, participants were given overview of opportunities offered to institutions and organisations in Serbia, with reference to previous experience and good practice. Also, youth component of Erasmus+ was briefly presented in order to provide a clear insight into the very structure of the Programme and its priorities.
National Info Day on Erasmus+ programme educational component was an introduction to local workshops to be held in larger cities across Serbia by the end of 2015.
