On Saturday, 12 September, Ambassador Michael Davenport Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia and Serbian Minister of Culture and Information will visit Negotin and attend concert of Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra organised within 50th celebration of Days of Mokranjac.
Under direction of guest conductor Vladimir Kulenovic, Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra will perform within the celebration of Days of Mokranjac for the first time in 15 years. Performance is held under the auspices of Delegation of European Union to the Republic of Serbia.
Minister Tasovac will visit Negotin’s cultural institutions, whereas Ambassador Davenport will, together with President of the Municipality Jovan Milovanovic, visit the families Mihailovic and Jenic, whose homes – destroyed during the floods in September 2014 – will be reconstructed through European Union’s Assistance Programme.
Minister Tasovac and Ambassador Davenport’s visit starts at Dom kulture with the opening of exhibition of photographs created within Art without Borders campaign carried out by Serbian European Integration Office.
