President of Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly of Serbia Aleksandra Djurovic met today with Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport and said that Committees’ priorities were regional cooperation and Serbia EU membership, reads the statement issued by National Assembly.

She stressed that since 2012 foreign affairs committees in South Eastern Europe (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Croatia) were holding joint sessions every six months.

Michael Davenport pointed out that EU Delegation to Serbia had a good cooperation with National Assembly, especially with European Integration Committee, and was interested in improving cooperation with other committees.

The meeting discussed European integration and progress in drafting action plans for chapters 23 and 24, but also modern challenges faced by European Union and the role of its institutions.
