The EU Delegation to Serbia, the EU Info Centre, the Secretariat for Transport of the City of Belgrade and the PUC “Beograd“ organised today, 22 September, a “car-free day“ within the celebration of European Mobility Week, by hanging a poster with a message “Drive less, walk more!“ on the city administration building in 43-45 27. marta street.

The canvas featuring a green tree was created within the activity “Green cross-walks” held in Belgrade on the first day of EMW campaign on 16 September. By crossing one of the Misarska street, Belgraders painted the three by leaving their footsteps and thus created a unique work of art which is available to everyone as of today. The idea behind the canvas is to remind the citizens about the importance of alternative modes of transportation for the environment.

The canvas will be on display for two months.
