Since 2000 until today, the European Union has donated Serbia nearly €3 billion of assistance in all areas – from the rule of law, through public administration reform, to environment protection and agriculture. With €200 million a year, Serbia is the largest recipient of EU pre-accession funds in the region. This section, which holds the symbolic title “EU and Serbia at work”, offers an overview of EU assistance per sector, as well as the most successful examples of projects funded by the EU. Under the same moto – „EU and Serbia at Work“, the first EU Projects Fair was held in Belgrade on March 17, presenting those projects.
