Over the next six days, audience will have an opportunity to see 30 films hailing from 22 EU member states and Serbia.

“The EU Delegation to Serbia is proud to present another film festival. Many of the selected films are co-produced by several countries, which shows that Europe without borders hasn’t succeeded only as a political, but as a cultural and art project as well,” said Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport at the opening ceremony of the festival.

“We want to bring you the best of the European film production, but also to show you that Serbia can engage in creation and creative exchange on the entire European continent, and not only when it comes to film and the art of cinema,” said Ambassador Davenport.

The motto of this year’s festival is “The In-Between Land” and is about marking ten years of the biggest EU enlargement.  The festival, organised by the EU Delegation to Serbia, EUNIC, the EU Info Centre, and Dom omladine, explores this particular enlargement’s impact on mental landscape of the continent united in respect and glorification towards its cultural and natural diversity. Attending the festival is free of charge. However, free tickets are required, and can be obtained via social networks or at the lounge of Dom omladine.
