Federica Mogherini, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, met today Prime Minister of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, to discuss the situation and all latest developments in Kosovo as well as the way forward in the dialogue for normalisation of relations between Pristina and Belgrade.

She expressed her support to the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister for their efforts to restore normal parliamentary work. Recent incidents of violence and obstruction in the working of the Parliament are unacceptable and the High Representative stressed the need democratic processes to be respected.

On the EU facilitated dialogue, the High Representative welcomed the commitment of the Prime Minister to the dialogue and the implementation of the agreements reached.

The High Representative and the Prime Minister also spoke about the ongoing visa liberalisation dialogue as well as the implementation of the recently signed Stabilisation and Association Agreement that is opening up a new chapter in the European Union-Kosovo relations.
