On the occasion of Open Doors Day, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands hosted some 30 students who had a chance to talk to Ambassador Henk van den Dool.

According to him, the idea is to convince the students that the Embassy is not just a big building with thick walls where people are working on some highly classified issues behind the closed doors.

“The Dutch Embassy is a modern office where the Dutch and Serbs work to improve ties between the two countries,” said Dutch Ambassador Henk van den Dool.

The students toured the Embassy, tested their knowledge of the Netherlands and spoke to the staff from various departments, such as the economic or the department of culture.

This is the third time that the Netherlands has taken part in the Open Doors Days organised in cooperation with the EU Delegation to Serbia and the EU Info Centre.
