The Serbian government and the European Commission signed a financial agreement approving EUR 84.8 million from IPA 2014 funds to Serbia.

The agreement was signed by Catherine Wendt of the EC Directorate-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations Serbian Minister of European Integration and Jadranka Joksimovic, who is also the national IPA coordinator.

After a successful process of preparing the IPA program for 2014, the European Commission approved EUR 187.1 million to Serbia in December 2014, with financial agreements on EUR 102.3 million signed in June 2015.

Wednesday’s agreement approves the remaining EUR 84.8 million, to be used for implementing projects in public administration reform, competitiveness, energy, interior affairs and employment.
