The Pulse of Europe – Media Trips to EU project has participated in the second EU Opportunity Week, held in the European House in Belgrade from September 23rd to 27th, 2024.
The project presented its activities, the current Call for Proposals and the results achieved on September 25th. That was a day dedicated to the opportunities that the European Union offers in the fields of culture, civil society and media. The project leader, Marina Rakić, participated in the panel and explained the goals and activities of the project, while members of the project team at the stand in the hall of the European House discussed with the visitors the opportunities that the project offers.
On the same day, two journalists – participants of the media trips organised by the project took part in a podcast as part of the European Week of Opportunities. The editor-in-chief of the Energy Portal (magazine and web portal) Nevena Đukić and the editor of the daily newspaper Danas Aleksandar Roknić shared their experiences from participating in media trips to Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria and the Netherlands. They also shared what it was like to report on the energy transition in Portugal, urban sustainability in Spain as well as on the media freedom standards in the Netherlands and the benefits of EU membership in Bulgaria.
