Europe Day 2024 will be celebrated under the slogan Europe is our home – Better together. During the month of May, the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia will organise a series of activities dedicated to citizens of Serbia.
- “Under the starry roof” concert, May 10 in Belgrade
- Main partner at the Agricultural Fair, from May 18 to 23 in Novi Sad
- A series of talks with young people and citizens in five cities, during May and June.
All activities will be accompanied by a promotional campaign in which 20 ambassadors of the European Union member states in Serbia and the ambassador of the European Union participate.
Together with the citizens of Serbia, they send the message that Europe is our common home.
In honour of Europe Day in Belgrade, the concert “Under the starry sky” will be organised on the Sava Promenade in Gornji Kalemegdan on May 10. The RTS Big Band jazz orchestra is performing with guests Vasil Hadžimanov, Bojana Stamenov, Zoe Kida and Mark Louis, who will perform a unique program not to be missed. The Europe Day concert starts at 8:30 p.m. and admission is free.
Apart from the concert in Belgrade, Europe Day will also be celebrated in other cities in Serbia.
In Novi Sad, the European Union will be the main partner of the Agricultural Fair, where member countries will have their own stands. Visitors will be able to taste some of the most famous European specialties in Hall 1, from May 18 to 23.
In Niš, Subotica, Kragujevac, Užice and Novi Pazar, a series of talks with citizens and young people will be organised in May and June about the Growth Plan, digitalisation and innovations, circular economy, cultural heritage, but also about creative industries that put Serbia on the European cultural map.
