Twenty-three new houses in Obrenovac, Krupanj, Paraćin, Gornji Milanovac, Bajina Bašta, Šid and Mionica have been constructed so far, while 612 flood affected homes have been renovated in Obrenovac, Krupanj, Kraljevo, Lazarevac, Svilajnac, Trstenik, Varvarin, Valjevo, Mali Zvornik, Ljubovija, Šabac, Bajina Bašta, Šid, Loznica, Smederevska Palanka, Velika Plana, Čačak, Ub, Koceljeva, Jagodina and Paraćin.
Construction works in Valjevo are temporarly put on hold due to the weather conditions and low temperature. This is the part of private housing reconstruction process for the total of some 950 in 30 municipalities funded through the European Union Assistance for Flood Relief in Serbia Programme which is well underway. Depending upon the weather conditions, the completion of this intervention is expected during January and February 2015.
The reconstruction works on the classrooms and other premises within Agriculture-Veterinary School in Svilajnac are completed. This replacement of joinery, flooring, plastering, painting, pavement, façade, electrical and sewage installation, and reconstruction of heating station. Also, the school is equipped with basic furniture and teaching material. This improved conditions for learning of 650 high school students. In addition to this, floors will be installed in the sports hall at the beginning of 2015. The European Union funded these works with 122,085 Euros.
Animal feed for cows, pigs and layers was delivered to 439 agricultural families in Koceljeva, Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Ljubovija, Mali Zvornik, Osecina, Sabac, Smederevska Palanka, Ub and Valjevo. In total, more than 140 tons of animal feed was delivered in these 10 municipalities. By 20 January 2015, total of 1,615 farmers in 24 municipalities will receive 516,800 kilograms of animal feed for cows, pigs and layers.
