Overview
The delivery of lambs and kids to 121 farming households, funded by the European Union, is completed. Each livestock producer received seven lambs with pedigree (one mail and six female) so farmers can continue to breed sheep with pedigree and enlarge their herds; also these high quality lambs will be used for milk and cheese production. Thank to the EU support, total of 874 lambs is delivered to Serbian flood affected farmers. Until the date Installation of the 100 greenhouses in Šabac, Ub, Obrenovac, Paraćin, Smederevska Palanka and Varvarin has been completed. Besides greenhouses construction, beneficiaries will be also provided with complete drip irrigation system and installation of greenhouses.
So far, 151 houses in Obrenovac, Krupanj, Svilajnac, Varvarin, Paraćin, Gornji Milanovac, Bajina Bašta, Šid, Ruma, Loznica, Malo Crniće, Valjevo, Osečina, Smederevo, Smederevska Palanka, Požega, Loznica, Lajkovac, Ruma and Mionica have been constructed, while 868 flood affected homes have been rehabilitated in Obrenovac, Krupanj, Kraljevo, Lazarevac, Svilajnac, Trstenik, Varvarin, Valjevo, Mali Zvornik, Ljubovija, Šabac, Bajina Bašta, Šid, Loznica, Smederevska Palanka, Velika Plana, Čačak, Ub, Koceljeva, Jagodina and Paraćin. This is the part of private housing reconstruction process of more than 950 units in 30 municipalities funded through the European Union Assistance for Flood Relief in Serbia Programme.
