Ambassador Giaufret Condemns Threats During Protest in Belgrade

The Ambassador of the European Union to Serbia, Emanuele Giaufret, condemned the threats that were uttered during the meeting that was held on Wednesday evening in Belgrade.

“While freedom of expression & assembly are pillars of a democratic society, the EU firmly condemns any threat of violence including death threats and hateful language as seen during Wednesday’s demonstration in Belgrade. The EU reconfirms its full commitment to Serbia’s path to the Union“, Ambassador Giaufret wrote on Twitter.
