Within Open Doors events, Embassy of Greece opened its doors for pupils of Mladost elementary school from Tomasevac, Zrenjanin, whereas in the afternoon the Embassy was visited by students of Neo Hellenic Studies of Faculty of Philology in Belgrade.
Greek Ambassador Constantine Economides told press that diplomatic missions of EU Member States had taken part in the manifestation.
Goal of the manifestation is to bring children closer to work of embassies, Economides said and added that more than 40 children visited the Embassy.
Serbia could become an EU Member State in the near future and it is a good thing for children to get acquainted with EU Embassies’ operation, said Greek Ambassador.
Children visited the Embassy today, in the afternoon they will visit EU Info Centre and watch a movie about Greece and Europe.
Under the motto “Europe Open”, and on the occasion of Europe Day, EU Delegation to Serbia and EU Info Centre organise Open Doors events for students and citizens.
