Reconstruction process on private houses for over 750 families in 23 municipalities mostly affected by the floods is well underway. This includes reconstruction works and construction of new homes which is funded by the European Union with 5.7 million Euros. Depending upon weather conditions, the completion of this intervention is expected in December 2014 – January 2015.

The first phase of the reconstruction works on the Technical School in Obrenovac is completed. It included plastering, flooring, joinery, painting and mechanical works in classrooms on the lower level of the school. This works were funded with 54,547 Euros through EU Assistance for Flood Relief in Serbia Programme and helped restoring learning conditions for over 900 students. The second phase of the reconstruction will include administrative premises, and it can start upon completion of the Rehabilitation Design and obtaining construction permit. These works are estimated to over 200,000 Euros.

Distribution of cherry and sour cherry seedlings to the agriculture families in 24 municipalities is completed in period 12-14 November 2014. In total 91 beneficiaries received 27,300 cherry seedlings, 300 seedlings per family. As for sour cherries, total of 64 agriculture producers received 19,200 seedlings, 300 sour cherry seedlings per producer. During November 2014 all agriculture producers will complete planting of cherries and sour cherries.
