Programmes and projects’ promotions under the EU-funded EU Exchange 4 programme mark the International Day of Older Persons in Serbia.
Participating in a round table in Zajecar are local Centre for Social Work and city administration, health centre and pensioner representatives. On this occasion, the Centre promoted EU Exchange 4 project – “Helping Hand”.
Within the “We Care for the Elderly” programme, Zlatar organises a short programme dedicated to beneficiaries of Priboj, Prijepolje and Nova Varos CSWs.
Gerontology nurses trained under the project “Care for the Elderly – Returning the Favour” in Veliko Gradiste were to receive certificates and promotional sets, following a visit to service beneficiaries.
In Smederevska Palanka, within the project Service home assistance for the elderly in municipalities of Topola, Arandjelovac and Smederevska Palanka, volunteer training was to take place, involving some 50 elementary school children who applied for volunteer training after the project’s presentation.
