The EU Delegation has held information sessions about the “Support to Social Inclusion of the Most Vulnerable Groups, Including Roma, through More Diversified Community-based Social Services,” informing the potential applicants about the procedure of application and other details.

The project reaffirms EU’s commitment to the creation of the environment that would enable social inclusion to every vulnerable group in Serbia, and EU has by now invested in this sector €100 million in Serbia, Project Manager of the EU Delegation to Serbia Luca Manunta told the information session in Užice, which aroused great interest.

Information sessions were previously held in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Niš, and all of them were well-attended. The sessions were held in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Policy.

EU has provided €4,35 million, out of which €2,9 million are allocated to finance community-based social services projects, while €1,45 million is earmarked to finance projects concerning active inclusion of Roma.
