Have you ever wondered: What does the European Union do for me? The exhibition of EU projects in Serbia “#EUzaTEBE – a chance for everyone”, which was set up at the Cultural Station Svilara in Novi Sad until May 31st, answers exactly this question. The item includes 12 illustrations, as a kind of calendar, where the story of cooperation between the EU and Serbia is told.

At one of the exhibited panels, the project “Europe for Citizens” was promoted, promoting the common European history and values, as well as the feeling of belonging to Europe, the second illustrates the European Commission’s program to support the cultural sector and audiovisual activities – “Creative Europe“. Through the exhibition, we can also go to successful agricultural support projects (IPARD), civil protection mechanisms, and the development of small and medium enterprises (COSME) and EU PRO, which is devoted to the development of 99 local communities.

For the visitors interested in science and research, the most attractive part of the exhibition is certainly the illustration of the HORIZON 2020 programme, the largest program of European investments in science, which allows financing of the projects that promote complete humanity, in which researchers from Serbia can also participate. “Copernicus”, the most ambitious and the most successful project of observing the Earth. Bio Sense Institute from Novi Sad is the largest center for distribution of Copernicus images.

Through interesting illustrations and texts, programs for students, NGOs, support for the promotion of democracy and human rights (EIDHR), and the Regional Housing Program were presented.

The desire is to point out in concrete examples to the citizens that the EU is the biggest donor and investor in Serbia and that attention is paid to the forms of cooperation that the citizens have the most benefit from.

The exhibition is part of the #EUzaTEBE campaign. It is the umbrella campaign of the Delegation of the European Union in Serbia and the EU Info Network in Belgrade, Nis, and Novi Sad, which promotes the results of EU development aid to Serbia in the process of European integration. During the campaign, the focus will be what has been achieved so far, as well as the possibilities for further cooperation and joint work on projects in a large number of areas, from culture, energy, agriculture to environmental protection, education, support to civil society, and transport.
