On Saturday, May 31, Prva TV starts broadcasting series “Europe, hell yeah!” co-produced by the EU Delegation to Serbia and Monte Royal Pictures production company. Each of the 26 episodes informs viewers on a certain aspect of EU integrations and Serbia’s adjustment to this process, but it also points out to Serbia’s values on its way to the EU.
A young Slavic studies student from Stuttgart – Hans Hartmann (24) – comes to Belgrade for a training. He is of Serbian origin, third time visiting Serbia, and he is well-acquainted with Belgrade and Serbian language. Within a student exchange programme, Hans is staying for a month at Miloš Vilotijević’s (23), a German studies student living with his parents and his brother Nemanja (18) – a skinhead nick-named German, senior year high school student. Miloš and Nemanja introduce Hans to their friends, neighbours, relatives. Over the course of one month, all of the characters will face prejudices about the EU, as well as their interpersonal. Hans will bring his hosts closer to European values, as well as pointing out the advantages of Serbian EU membership, through his very respect for Serbian values, tradition and culture. The show is intended for the whole family.
