Grad Evrope, an event commemorated as part of Europe Day celebrations within the #EUzaTEBE campaign, will be held on Saturday, 11 May, 11am through 5pm in the Nikola Pasic Square. We have prepared a number of interesting activities so we invite you to spend this Saturday with us, broaden your knowledge of European countries and have a good time.
The event will feature three separate activity zones. In the first one, visitors will have a chance to hear interesting facts about the culture, cuisine and history by visiting individual stands of EU Member States and hear more about their cooperation with Serbia. Also, a stage will be set up, for our guests to hear unusual types of music and see compelling stage performances.
Serbia is a basketball country and this summer, with Latvia it will co-host the Women’s Eurobasket. It should then come as no surprise that a part of the Nikola Pasic Square will be turned into a basketball court in line with FIBA standards and that everyone will be able to take part in the tournament. The winners will be in for prizes.
We have also prepared a space for the youngest to test their knowledge in quizzes, play with LEGO bricks, take part in races and a number of other activities at the highest level of safety. For the more curious, we have also organized scientific experiments to help them learn more about the world around them. Fun for all generations.
#EUzaTEBE is the name of the European Delegation to Serbia and EU Info Network’s (EU Info Centre in Belgrade and EU Info Points in Novi Sad and Nis) umbrella campaign, promoting the results of EU’s development assistance to Serbia as part of the European integration process.
The campaign will focus on the results produced so far as well as on the potential of future cooperation and common work on projects in a number of areas: culture, energy, agriculture, environmental protection, education, support for civil society, transport, etc.
