On Wednesday, 11 June, starting at 4 p.m., the eco printing workshop “Imprint of Nature” will be held, jointly organised by Europe House Novi Sad and fashion designer Marija Kozomora. The activity will take place at the EU Corner of the youth organisation OPENS.
The workshop is open to participants aged 20 and over, with mandatory registration at the following link.
This creative and educational workshop will introduce participants to eco printing techniques using only natural materials on untreated fabrics. Without chemicals or synthetic fibres, participants will learn how to transfer plants and natural forms into unique prints on fabric – blending design, ecology, and personal expression.
Through hands-on work, the workshop will open discussions about the environmental impact of the fashion industry and encourage thinking about sustainable alternatives and deeper connections with nature. The focus is on an ethical and environmentally conscious approach to design, which may also serve as inspiration for future creativity.
The event is organised within EU Green Week, whose 2024 theme is Clean, Competitive and Circular – with an emphasis on the importance of the circular economy in the green transition. Europe House Novi Sad, on behalf of the EU Delegation to Serbia, is actively participating in the observance of this week through cooperation with local partners and public events.
