The reconstruction of 216 private houses in Krupanj, Obrenovac and Kraljevo is completed so far. The process of reparation and construction of private dwellings is underway for some 600 families throughout 24 municipalities mostly affected by floods. Depending upon the weather conditions, the completion of this intervention is expected in December 2014 – January 2015.
The reconstruction of the water supply system which was affected by floods is also underway. This will include cleaning of three infiltration lakes, which entail pumping out the water, removal of the mud layers from the banks and the bottom, spreading of the new clean filtering layers (gravel and sand) on the bottom and the construction of fence surrounding the complex (the old fence was completely destroyed in the floods).
The works should be completed by the end of January 2015. The European Union is funding this intervention with 190,000 Euros.
More than 1,000,000 million raspberry seedlings have been delivered to the agriculture families Krupanj and Šabac municipalities. By end of this week, total of 1,764,000 raspberry seedlings will be delivered to 980 fruit producers.
