If you wish to apply for an Erasmus Mundus joint master degree (Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree – EMJMD), the web-site of the European Commission offers an updated list with over 100 joint master programmes available in the current call for applications for the academic year 2019/2020.
You can apply for up to three programmes in a single call for applications. By applying for any of the EMJMDs you are automatically applying for Erasmus+ EUR1000 monthly scholarship that covers living costs. Erasmus also offers a series of other scholarship options such as those intended for travel and moving expenses and healthcare insurance. Applications usually run from October through January, with applications submitted through master degrees’ web-sites, within deadlines set by the consortium of each master degree.
Erasmus Mundus joint master degrees mainly include two-year interdisciplinary master programmes taught in English. In most cases, and within a single cycle, each master degree includes studying at two or three universities located in different European countries running the programme.
