At the ceremony within the EU project “Support to improved integration of refugees, IDPs and returnees in the Municipality of Bojnik” three families have received keys to prefabricated houses. The project, aimed at improving living conditions of refugees, IDPs and returnees in the Municipality of Bojnik, received financial support from the EU Delegation to Serbia.
Each of the prefabricated houses is around 50 square metres in size and worth 36.000 euros, including installations and basic furnishing. Municipality of Bojnik contributed to the project by providing necessary infrastructure and installations, urban and technical documentation development, all of which has largely contributed to the implementation of the project.
The project was part of a more comprehensive EU-funded programme designed to support the improvement of living conditions of forced migrants, “For a Better Life”, worth 14.2 million euros.
