The United States nationals do not need a visa for travelling to Europe of up to 90 days. The EU has stated earlier that the new rules (details on this link) were introduced “to avoid any issues with irregular migration and terrorism”, adding that the validity of ETIAS travel authorization will be three years. The applications will be filled in online and processing of the application will be charged EUR 7. When ETIAS becomes fully operational in 2021, the same authorizations will be required for those wishing to travel to the Schengen countries with the Serbian passport.
